Velera – General Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 6 September 2025

Applicability
These terms apply to every order placed via Velera’s webshop and the Home Salon!

Nail Salon Policies

Appointments & Booking

All appointments must be booked in advance.

A valid email address and phone number are required to confirm your booking.

Please ensure you select the correct service when booking. Extra services may require additional time and cost.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price.

No-shows will be charged 100% of the service price.

Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

(In line with Dutch consumer law, fees are only charged when clearly communicated in advance.)

 Late Arrivals

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened to respect other clients.

Arrivals 15 minutes or more late may be treated as a no-show and charged accordingly.

We reserve the right to refuse service if there is not enough time to complete it properly.

 

Payments

Payment is due immediately after the service.

We accept cash and/or electronic payments (as specified in the salon).

Prices are listed in EUR (€) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

 Hygiene & Safety

We follow strict hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with Dutch health regulations.

All tools are disinfected or single-use.

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

-  You have a nail infection, fungus, open wounds, or contagious condition.

-  Your nails or skin condition may compromise safety or results.

Nail Repairs & Guarantee

We offer a 7-day guarantee on all nail services.

Repairs within 7 days are free of charge if the issue is due to a technical or application fault.

The guarantee does not cover breakage caused by impact, misuse, excessive force, or lack of aftercare.

Repairs requested after 7 days will be charged at the standard repair price.

No refunds are provided once a service has been completed.

Children & Guests & Pets

For safety and comfort reasons, no extra guests, pets or children are allowed unless previously agreed.

Children must not sit on laps or interfere with equipment.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of nail services, refunds are not provided.

If you are unhappy with your service, please inform us before leaving the salon, so we can address it immediately.

Complaints made days later without prior notice may not be accepted.

Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought into the salon.

Please keep valuables with you at all times.

 Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who:

Is aggressive, disrespectful, or inappropriate

Arrives under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Does not follow salon policies

Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)

Your personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR (AVG) regulations.

Your information is used only for bookings, communication, and salon-related purposes.

We never share your data with third parties without consent.


Products (Press-On Nails & Accessories)

In addition to nail services, Velera sells custom-made press-on nails and accessories.

Each set is handmade to order and may vary slightly in design or color. These variations are part of the handmade process and do not constitute a defect.

Prices & Payment (Products)

All prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT.

Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

Payment must be completed before the order is processed.

Shipping

Orders are shipped within 1–3 working days.

Velera is not responsible for shipping delays once the order has been handed over to the carrier.

Returns & Refunds (Products)

As all press-on nail sets are custom-made, returns and refunds are not possible, unless:

- The product arrives damaged, or

- The incorrect product is delivered.

Any issues must be reported within a reasonable time after delivery.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate nail sizes and correct delivery information.

Velera is not responsible for errors or issues resulting from incorrect details provided by the customer.

Liability

Velera is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, in accordance with Dutch law.
