What are press-on nails?
Press-on nails are reusable artificial nails that you can easily apply at home using nail glue or adhesive tabs. They give you a salon-quality manicure in minutes without the time, damage, or expense of regular acrylics or gels.
Each tip is handpainted over a Aprex Gel-X full cover tip, so they look and wear exactly like a professional gel set, because they are!
How long do press-on nails last?
With proper application, press-on nails can last anywhere from 5–14 days. Adhesive tabs usually hold for a few days (perfect for events), while nail glue can last up to two weeks.
Are the nails reusable?
Yes! If you remove them gently and keep them clean, many of our sets can be reused multiple times. We recommend using adhesive tabs if you plan to reuse them.

Will press-on nails damage my natural nails?
Not if applied and removed properly. Adhesive tabs are the gentlest option. If using glue, always soak them off instead of pulling.
Are the nails waterproof?
Yes, you can shower and wash your hands normally. However, prolonged soaking (like swimming or long baths) may reduce wear time, especially if using adhesive tabs.

How do I choose the right size?

How do I apply the nails?
Each set comes with everything you need:
- Clean and buff your natural nails.
- Wipe with an alcohol pad to remove oils.
- Apply adhesive tab or nail glue.
- Press the press-on nail firmly for 10–20 seconds.
- Don’t put your hands in water for the first 1-3 hours for better application
How do I remove press-on nails safely?
- Soak nails in warm soapy water or apply cuticle oil around the edges.
- Gently lift from the sides, never force them off.
If you use glue, you may need to soak longer or use olive oil or dish soap..
Can I file or shape the nails?
Yes! You can gently file or trim them to your preferred shape and length before or after applying.
Shipping & Returns
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping times and costs vary depending on your location. Full details are available at checkout or you can email veleranails@gmail.com for more info.
How long does shipping take?
- Domestic orders (Netherlands): 1–3 business days
- European orders: 3–10 business days
- International orders: 7–14 business days
What is your return policy?
Because all of our press-on nails are custom made for you, returns are not accepted unless the item you received is incorrect or defective. In such cases, please contact us within 14 days and we will assist you.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Will I have to pay customs fees or import taxes?
Customs fees, import duties, and taxes may apply to international orders outside the European Union. These charges are determined by your country’s customs office and are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note: We do not cover or reimburse customs fees.
I want to cancel my order
You can only cancel your order if it has not yet been shipped.
For any cancellation request, please contact us as quickly as possible at veleranails@gmail.com and include your order details.
Once your order has been shipped, it will unfortunately no longer be possible to cancel it.
Withdrawal Policy
We offer a 14-day withdrawal period starting from the date you receive your order.
If you wish to return an item within this period, you will need to provide us with a valid reason, and the return shipping costs will be your responsibility .

At Velera, our nail sets are handmade to order, which means most designs remain available on the website even if they’re not ordered often. You’ll always be able to find your favorites unless we clearly mark a style as limited edition.
If you see a set you love, you can order it at any time. It’s not going anywhere. ✨
I can’t find a design I saw on your social networks
If a design is missing from the shop, it’s likely a limited edition or a seasonal release that has been retired. Otherwise, most of our collections stay online and available.
